Welcome to Curtis Elementary!
My name is Dinah Stringer, and I am honored to serve as the school counselor for our amazing Curtis Roo family. I have over 20 years of experience in education, including 15 years as a classroom teacher and several years as a school counselor. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of children and a passion for helping every student reach their full potential. As the school counselor, I work alongside students, families, teachers, and staff to support the whole child. Whether a student needs help building friendships, developing coping skills, managing emotions, overcoming challenges, or simply needs a caring adult to talk with, I am here to help. I believe that every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued at school. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and believe that kindness, connection, and encouragement can make a lasting difference in a child's life. My goal is to ensure that every Curtis Roo knows they are cared for, encouraged, and capable of success.
