Welcome to the Curtis Library!

My name is Debbie Bennett, and I am the new librarian at Curtis. I am absolutely thrilled to be able to share my passion for literacy and STEAM in Weatherford ISD. I began teaching in 2002 in my hometown of Noble, OK. Since that time, I have taught everything from 1st grade to 8th grade in Oklahoma, Washington, and Texas. I have been an elementary librarian since 2017, and I can honestly say I have never had a more satisfying job. I am so excited to be a Roo, and I know this is going to be a fabulous year!
